Markets, Institutions and Side Payments - Takafumi YOSHIDA (Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics, Nagasaki University)
- Abstract:
- We have accumulated a lot of theoretical studies about markets, institutions and firms. But we do not clear their natures and relations sufficiently. This paper aims at comprehensive understandings of them through a key concept i.e. side payments. We can find optimal resource allocations in both the institution and the market by means of side payments among the subjects concerned.
