English Support Room Event: Travel Talk
Dates: 29th June and 1st July, 2016
Who: 7 presenters (3rd / 4th year Economics students and Rob)
6 students from our faculty and an English teacher Rob talked about studying, traveling and working in other countries. Around 30 people came to watch over the 2 days. The purpose was to allow returnee students to explain their experiences inside and outside of the classroom and also to give advice about how to prepare better before going overseas. After the talks finished, all students were able to talk freely with each other and gain more insight. The feedback from the events were positive, as some of the current International Business Plus students that attended commented on how this event let them understand more deeply about studying abroad.
