BACKGROUND:
The 14th International Conference on Asian Finacial Markets and Economic Development is a forum for presentation of research results, practices in the fields of finance, banking and accounting. Contributors and participants include academia, researchers, financial service providers and policymakers. The conference will be hosted by Nagasaki University (Japan), in cooperation with South Western University of Finance and Economics (China), Shiga University (Japan) and Beijing Technology and Business University.

To provide cutting-edge insights into contemporary policy debates on economic, financial and accounting issues, we invite papers on the following topics but not limited to:

PAPER SUBMISSIONS PROCEDURE AND DEADLINE:
Authors are invited to submit a full paper to icafm@ml.nagasaki-u.ac.jp by 15th September 2018. Papers will be selected for presentation at the conference by the conference committee and will be notified by 1st October 2018. The criteria for selecting papers for the program include the nature of the research topic, the economic implications of the research, and the academic quality of the research design.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY:
Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue/section of the Economic Modelling, https://www.journals.elsevier.com/economic-modelling and the issue will be edited by Prof. Sushanta Mallick and Dr. Yizhe Dong.

Please indicate at the time of submission if you would like your paper to be considered for publication in a special issue of Economic Modelling. Acceptance to the conference does not imply acceptance into the Economic Modelling issue which aims to publish high quality research contributions on the above theme. Submissions to the journal will undergo a normal review process that maintains the Economic Modelling's publication standards.

The detailed information about the submission process and deadline will be provided at the conference and emailed to registered authors.

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:

Early Bird Fee (before 30th October) : US$200
Standard  Fee (before 20th November) : US$300
Students : US$150

Registration fee covers conference materials, coffee breaks, lunches, a gala dinner during the conference, and accommodation is not included.
