Message from the Dean
Welcome to Nagasaki!
Nagasaki University’s Faculty of Economics is located in Nagasaki, Japan. Nagasaki Port was opened around 400 years ago as the single place of direct trade and exchange between Japan and the outside world for three centuries. Since then, it has flourished as a center of international trade. As a result, it has a mix of Japanese, Chinese and European cultures, which is best represented by Shippoku cuisine, a local specialty.
Nagasaki University’s Faculty of Economics was founded in 1905 and has counted graduated more than 20,000 students. Nagasaki has a rich natural environment facing the beautiful sea and mountain as well. Why not study in Nagasaki?
