The 4th Nagasaki University International
Staff Week was opened.
Nagasaki University was chosen to be part of the EU Scholarship called “Erasmus+” which supports to exchange students and staff with universities in Portugal, Poland and Italy. Through this program, Nagasaki University held its 4th “Nagasaki University International Staff Week” and welcomed two administrative staff from Porto University (Portugal) from 21st January to 25th January 2019.
During the staff week, the participants and our staff enjoyed discussing the internationalization of both universities and joined in a wide variety of activities. They also visited historical places to learn about the history and culture of Nagasaki, and the history of exchanges with foreign countries such as Portugal.
This exchange was a very fruitful and memorable event and we look forward to continued collaboration with our partner institutes for the promotion of peace and cross-cultural understanding.
